Therapeutic Plasma Exchange · Plasmapheresis · Gilbert, Arizona
You Optimized Everything.
Except Your Plasma.
Plasma is the liquid half of your blood — the environment your cells travel in. Therapeutic plasma exchange is a provider-directed procedure that separates that liquid, removes it, and returns your own cells with a replacement fluid known as albumin(Protien). Candidates are screened. Labs come first. This is not an IV drip and it is not a walk-in add-on.

What Your Plasma Is Carrying
You eat clean. You train. You sleep. Your hormones are dialed in and your labs look good — and you still feel like you’re running at 80%.
Plasma is the liquid portion of your blood, and it is where a great deal of what circulates through your body ends up: proteins, antibodies, cholesterol particles, and the environmental compounds most of us accumulate over a lifetime.
Therapeutic plasma exchange removes a portion of that plasma — and what it is carrying — then returns your own red cells, white cells and platelets to you.
How Therapeutic Plasma Exchange Works
Blood leaves through an IV in one arm, passes through an apheresis machine, and returns through the other. The entire circuit is closed, sterile and single-use — nothing is recirculated and nothing is shared between patients.
01 Draw
Blood is drawn continuously through a standard IV line.
02 Separate
A centrifuge spins plasma away from your red cells, white cells and platelets.
03 Remove
The plasma — and what is circulating in it — is discarded.
04 Return
Your cells return with a sterile albumin and saline replacement solution.
Why this reaches inflammation at a cellular level: cells communicate through cytokines and signaling proteins that travel in plasma. Exchanging the plasma lowers the concentration of those messengers. This effect has been documented in plasma exchange research for years. What is new is applying it to optimization and longevity rather than only to hospital medicine.
Our Philosophy
— The Limitless Regen Team
What to Expect at Your Appointment
Step 1 — Consultation & Labs
We review your history, medications and goals and run baseline labs. Nothing is scheduled until we know plasmapheresis is right for you.
Step 2 — Your Session
Plan on two to three hours in a recliner with an IV in each arm, monitored by our clinical team the entire time. Most patients read, work, stream something or sleep.
Step 3 — The Rest of Your Day
Take it easy, hydrate and eat a protein-forward meal. Skip the gym that day. Most people are back to their normal routine the next morning.
Step 4 — Your Protocol
TPE is typically done as a short series, then spaced into maintenance. Your provider builds the schedule around your labs and your goals.
You may notice a slight coolness as fluid returns, or mild tingling or light-headedness. That is normal, expected, and managed on the spot by our team.

Plasmapheresis FAQ
How long does a plasmapheresis session take?
About two to three hours, plus a short check-in and recovery period. Budget half a day for your first visit.
Is therapeutic plasma exchange painful?
No. You will feel two IV sticks at the start. After that most patients describe it as uneventful — the most common complaint is boredom.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on your labs and your goals. Most people start with a short series and then move to periodic maintenance. Your provider maps this out at your consultation.
Is plasmapheresis safe?
Plasma exchange has been performed in medicine for decades and is well understood. Like any IV procedure it carries risks, including low blood pressure, electrolyte shifts and reaction to the replacement fluid. That is why every session here is medically supervised and preceded by screening labs.
How much does TPE cost in Gilbert?
Pricing depends on your protocol and the number of sessions. Call (480) 400-0105 and we will walk you through it — no pressure, no obligation.
Who is not a candidate?
Certain cardiovascular conditions, clotting disorders, active infections, pregnancy and some medications rule it out. Screening is part of the consultation.
